Adversaria \Ad`ver*sa"ri*a\, n. pl. [L. adversaria (sc.
   scripta), neut. pl. of adversarius.]
   A miscellaneous collection of notes, remarks, or selections;
   a commonplace book; also, commentaries or notes.

         These parchments are supposed to have been St. Paul's
         adversaria.                              --Bp. Bull.
