Aliped \Al"i*ped\, a. [L. alipes; ala wing + pes, pedis, foot:
   cf. F. alip[`e]de.] (Zo["o]l.)
   Wing-footed, as the bat. -- n. An animal whose toes are
   connected by a membrane, serving for a wing, as the bat.
