Of or pertaining to analysis; resolving into elements or
constituent parts; as, an analytical experiment; analytic
reasoning; -- opposed to {synthetic}.

characterized by grammatical endings.
{Analytical table} (Nat. Hist.), a table in which the
characteristics of the species or other groups are
