Anhydrite

Anhydrite \An*hy"drite\, n. [See {Anhydrous}.] (Min.)
   A mineral of a white or a slightly bluish color, usually
   massive. It is anhydrous sulphate of lime, and differs from
   gypsum in not containing water (whence the name).
