Aurelia \Au*re"li*a\ (?; 106), n. [NL., fr. L. aurum gold: cf.
   F. aur['e]lie. Cf. {Chrysalis}.] (Zo["o]l.)
   (a) The chrysalis, or pupa of an insect, esp. when reflecting
       a brilliant golden color, as that of some of the
       butterflies.
   (b) A genus of jellyfishes. See {Discophora}.
