Babingtonite \Bab"ing*ton*ite\, n. [From Dr. Babbington.] (Min.)
   A mineral occurring in triclinic crystals approaching
   pyroxene in angle, and of a greenish black color. It is a
   silicate of iron, manganese, and lime.
