Bar'ege \Ba*r['e]ge"\, n. [F. bar['e]ge, so called from
   Bar['e]ges, a town in the Pyrenees.]
   A gauzelike fabric for ladies' dresses, veils, etc. of
   worsted, silk and worsted, or cotton and worsted.
