Bedaub \Be*daub"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Bedaubed} (?); p. pr. &
   vb. n. {Bedaubing}.]
   To daub over; to besmear or soil with anything thick and
   dirty.

         Bedaub foul designs with a fair varnish. --Barrow.
