Blinkard \Blink"ard\, n. [Blind + -ard.]
   1. One who blinks with, or as with, weak eyes.

            Among the blind the one-eyed blinkard reigns.
                                                  --Marvell.

   2. That which twinkles or glances, as a dim star, which
      appears and disappears. --Hakewill.
