Bon Silene

Silene \Si*le"ne\, n. [NL., fr. L. Silenus, the attendant of
   Bacchus.] (Bot.)
   A genus of caryophyllaceous plants, usually covered with a
   viscid secretion by which insects are caught; catchfly.
