   1. Achievement; deed; performance. [Obs.]

   3. (O. Eng. Law)
      (a) A making of contracts.
      (b) A bargain or contract; an agreement about a matter in
          dispute, such as a debt; a business compact.
      (c) An unlawful agreement or contract.
