Cheyennes \Chey*ennes"\, n. pl.; sing. {cheyenne}. (Ethnol.)
   A warlike tribe of indians, related to the blackfeet,
   formerly inhabiting the region of Wyoming, but now mostly on
   reservations in the Indian Territory. They are noted for
   their horsemanship.
