Ciliata \Cil`i*a"ta\, n. pl. [NL. See {Cilia}.] (Zo["o]l.)
   One of the orders of Infusoria, characterized by having
   cilia. In some species the cilia cover the body generally, in
   others they form a band around the mouth.
