Crinoidea \Cri*noid"e*a\ (kr>isl/*noid"[-e]*[.a]), n. pl. [NL., from Gr. kri`non lily + -oid: cf. F. crino["i]de.] (Zo["o]l.) A large class of Echinodermata, including numerous extinct families and genera, but comparatively few living ones.
