Dryobalanops \Dry`o*bal"a*nops\, n. [NL., fr. Gr. ? oak + ?
   acorn + ? appearance. The fruit remotely resembles an acorn
   in its cup.] (Bot.)
   The genus to which belongs the single species {D. Camphora},
   a lofty resinous tree of Borneo and Sumatra, yielding Borneo
   camphor and camphor oil.
