Danalite \Da"na*lite\, n. [Named after James Dwight Dana.]
   (Min.)
   A mineral occuring in octahedral crystals, also massive, of a
   reddish color. It is a silicate of iron, zinc manganese, and
   glucinum, containing sulphur.
