Dephlegmate

Dephlegmate \De*phleg"mate\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Dephlegmated};
   p. pr. & vb. n. {Dephlegmating}.] [See {Dephlegm}.] (Chem.)
   To deprive of superabundant water, as by evaporation or
   distillation; to clear of aqueous matter; to rectify; -- used
   of spirits and acids.
