   + ? to produce) + ?, ?, tooth.] (Anat.)
   Having two successive sets of teeth (deciduous and
   permanent), one succeeding the other; as, a diphyodont
   mammal; diphyodont dentition; -- opposed to {monophyodont}.
   -- n. An animal having two successive sets of teeth.
