Attended with disadvantage; unfavorable to success or
prosperity; inconvenient; prejudicial; -- opposed to
{advantageous}; as, the situation of an army is
disadvantageous for attack or defense.
Even in the disadvantageous position in which he had
been placed, he gave clear indications of future
