Disburse \Dis*burse"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Disbursed}; p. pr. &
   vb. n. {Disbursing}.] [OF. desbourser, F. d['e]bourser; pref.
   des- (L. dis-) + bourse purse. See {Burse}, and cf.
   {Dispurse}.]
   To pay out; to expend; -- usually from a public fund or
   treasury.
