Electrogeny \E`lec*trog"e*ny\, n. [Electro- + Gr. ? to produce.]
   (Physiol.)
   A term sometimes applied to the effects (tetanus) produced in
   the muscles of the limbs, when a current of electricity is
   passed along the spinal cord or nerves.
