Embroider \Em*broid"er\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Embroidered}; p.
   pr. & vb. n. {Embroidering}.] [OE. embrouden. See {Broider}.]
   To ornament with needlework; as, to embroider a scarf.

         Thou shalt embroider the coat of fine linen. --Ex.
