Emication \Em`i*ca"tion\, n. [L. emicatio, fr. emicare to spring
   out or forth; e out + micare to move quickly to and fro, to
   sparkle.]
   A flying off in small particles, as heated iron or fermenting
   liquors; a sparkling; scintillation. --Sir T. Browne.
