Engorge \En*gorge"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Engorged}; p. pr. &
   vb. n. {Engorging}.] [Pref. en- + gorge: cf. F. engorger to
   obstruct, cram.]
   1. To gorge; to glut. --Mir. for Mag.

   2. To swallow with greediness or in large quantities; to
      devour. --Spenser.
