Excruciate \Ex*cru"ci*ate\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Excruciated};
   p. pr. & vb. n. {Excruciating}.]
   To inflict agonizing pain upon; to torture; to torment
   greatly; to rack; as, to excruciate the heart or the body.

         Their thoughts, like devils, them excruciate.
