Exosmose \Ex"os*mose`\, n. [Exo+osmose: cf. F. ezosmose.]
   (Physics)
   The passage of gases, vapors, or liquids thought membranes or
   porous media from within outward, in the phenomena of osmose;
   -- opposed to endosmose. See {Osmose}.
