Furrow \Fur"row\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Furrowed}; p. pr. & vb.
   n. {Furrowing}.] [From {Furrow}, n.; cf. AS. fyrian.]
   1. To cut a furrow in; to make furrows in; to plow; as, to
      furrow the ground or sea. --Shak.

   2. To mark with channels or with wrinkles.

            Thou canst help time to furrow me with age. --Shak.

            Fair cheeks were furrowed with hot tears. --Byron.
