Gabble \Gab"ble\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Gabbled}; p. pr. & vb. n.

   1. To talk fast, or to talk without meaning; to prate; to
      jabber. --Shak.

   2. To utter inarticulate sounds with rapidity; as, gabbling
      fowls. --Dryden.
