Gastrotricha \Gas*trot"ri*cha\, n. pl., [NL., fr. Gr. ? belly +
   ?, ?, hair.] (Zo["o]l.)
   A group of small wormlike animals, having cilia on the
   ventral side. The group is regarded as an ancestral or
   synthetic one, related to rotifers and annelids.
