Gula \Gu"la\, n.; pl. L. {Gul[AE]}, E. {Gulas}. [L., the throat,
   gullet.]
   1. (Zo["o]l.)
      (a) The upper front of the neck, next to the chin; the
          upper throat.
      (b) A plate which in most insects supports the submentum.

   2. (Arch.) A capping molding. Same as {Cymatium}.
