Haloxyline \Ha*lox"y*line\, n. [Gr. "a`ls, "alo`s, salt + xy`lon
   wood.]
   An explosive mixture, consisting of sawdust, charcoal, niter,
   and ferrocyanide of potassium, used as a substitute for
   gunpowder.
