Hematocrya \Hem`a*toc"ry*a\, n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. a"i^ma,
   a"i`matos, blood + kry`os cold.] (Zo["o]l.)
   The cold-blooded vertebrates, that is, all but the mammals
   and birds; -- the antithesis to {Hematotherma}.
