Honey \Hon"ey\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Honeyed}; p. pr. & vb. n.
   {Honeying}.]
   To be gentle, agreeable, or coaxing; to talk fondly; to use
   endearments; also, to be or become obsequiously courteous or
   complimentary; to fawn. ``Honeying and making love.'' --Shak.
