Hurly-burly \Hur"ly-bur`ly\, n. [Reduplicated fr. OE. hurly
   confusion: cf. F. hurler to howl, yell, L. ululare; or cf. E.
   hurry.]
   Tumult; bustle; confusion. --Shak.
