   n. {Inciting}.] [L. incitare; pref. in- in + citare to rouse,

   To move to action; to stir up; to rouse; to spur or urge on.

         Anthiochus, when he incited Prusias to join in war, set
         before him the greatness of the Romans.  --Bacon.
