Intercentral \In`ter*cen"tral\, a.
   Between centers.

   {Intercentral nerves} (Physiol.), those nerves which transmit
      impulses between nerve centers, as opposed to peripheral
      fibers, which convey impulses between peripheral parts and
      nerve centers.
