Literalize \Lit"er*al*ize\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Literalized};
   p. pr. & vb. n. {Literalizing}.]
   To make literal; to interpret or put in practice according to
   the strict meaning of the words; -- opposed to
   {spiritualize}; as, to literalize Scripture.
