Watered; having a watered or clouded appearance; -- as of
silk or metals.
Moir'e \Moi`r['e]"\, n.
1. A watered, clouded, or frosted appearance on textile
fabrics or metallic surfaces.
2. Erroneously, moire, the fabric.
