Morbidezza \Mor`bi*dez"za\, n. [It., softness, delicacy. See
   {Morbid}.]
   1. (Fine Arts) Delicacy or softness in the representation of
      flesh.

   2. (Mus.) A term used as a direction in execution,
      signifying, with extreme delicacy. --Ludden.
