   [AS. seldan, seldon, seldum, fr. seld rare; akin to OFries.
   sielden, D. zelden, G. selten, OHG. seltan, Icel. sjaldan,
   Dan. sielden, Sw. s["a]llan, Goth. sildaleiks marvelous.]
   Rarely; not often; not frequently.
