Mundificant \Mun*dif"i*cant\, a. [L. mundificans, p. pr. of
   mundificare to make clean, fr. mundus clean + -ficare (in
   comp.) to make. See {-fy}.]
   Serving to cleanse and heal. -- n. A mundificant ointment or
   plaster.
