Neo-Scholasticism \Ne`o-Scho*las"ti*cism\, n.
   The modern revival of the Scholastic philosophy, esp. of that
   of Thomas Aquinas, with critical revision to suit the
   exigencies of the general advance in learning. The
   Neo-Scholastic movement received a great impetus from Leo
   XIII.'s interest in it.
