Norn \Norn\, Norna \Nor"na\, n. [Icel. norn, pl. nornir.]
   1. (Scandinavian Myth.) One of the three Fates, Past,
      Present, and Future. Their names were Urd, Verdandi, and
      Skuld.

   2. A tutelary deity; a genius.
