Obdiplostemonous \Ob*dip`lo*stem"o*nous\, a. [Pref. ob- +
   diplostemonous.] (Bot.)
   Having twice as many stamens as petals, those of the outer
   set being opposite the petals; -- said of flowers. --Gray.
