Pacinian \Pa*cin"i*an\, a. (Anat.)
   Of, pertaining to, or discovered by, Filippo Pacini, an
   Italian physician of the 19th century.

   {Pacinian corpuscles}, small oval bodies terminating some of
      the minute branches of the sensory nerves in the
      integument and other parts of the body. They are supposed
      to be tactile organs.
