Pantoscopic \Pan`to*scop"ic\, a. [Panto- + -scope + -ic.]
   Literally, seeing everything; -- a term applied to eyeglasses
   or spectacles divided into two segments, the upper being
   designed for distant vision, the lower for vision of near
   objects.
