Passible \Pas"si*ble\, a. [L. passibilis, fr. pati, to suffer:
   cf. F. passible. See {Passion}.]
   Susceptible of feeling or suffering, or of impressions from
   external agents.

         Apolinarius, which held even deity itself passible.
