Peddlery \Ped"dler*y\, n. [Written also pedlary and pedlery.]
   1. The trade, or the goods, of a peddler; hawking; small
      retail business, like that of a peddler.

   2. Trifling; trickery. [Obs.] ``Look . . . into these their
      deceitful peddleries.'' --Milton.
