Phyllocladium \Phyl`lo*cla"di*um\, n.; pl. {Phyllocladia}. [NL.,
   fr. Gr. ? a leaf + ? a sprout.] (Bot.)
   A flattened stem or branch which more or less resembles a
   leaf, and performs the function of a leaf as regards
   respiration and assimilation.
