   superl. {Plumpest}.] [OE. plomp rude, clumsy; akin to D.
   plomp, G., Dan., & Sw. plump; probably of imitative origin.

   Well rounded or filled out; full; fleshy; fat; as, a plump
   baby; plump cheeks. --Shak.
